New case and cooling ideas

Hi guys,

Before I start - I expect to get a lot of stick for this, but there's a good reason behind it

I don't really play games anymore, although am starting to get back into a bit. The main use will be just general internet browsing and music etc...

Specs are:
3960X
Rampage IV Formula
GTX 690
8gb/16gb of Mushkin Blackline/Corsair Vengeance (already have 16gb of both kits so it's of no concern)
AX850


It's coming in a HAF X with an H80 which I'm not really too keen on. I'm wanting to swap them to something else. What cases do you lot like right now - as small as possible, but still ATX with a fair amount of room (obviously the 690 isn't small).

Also, I'll be changing the cooling. I'll probably put my Noctuas NH-U12S on for now, but I feel with specs like this I should really be going for something a little better (I may do a custom loop again at some point).

Cash will be pretty limited after buying this, so can't really be spending loads on a case/cooler right now - but I'm interested to hear your ideas of what you think I should do!

I'm getting:
16gb of Corsair Vengeance,
1200w Coolermaster Silent Pro Gold
3960x
Rampage IV Formula
GTX690
2x 240gb OCZ Agility 3 (eugh)
1TB HDD
H80
HAF-X
and a Creative Recon3D Professional something or other - don't really care as I'll be using my STX anyway...

But I'll be getting all that for £1000 I think.

I've been running off the MATX thing with a 2600k and Maximus V Gene for a couple of weeks, and calculated that I can 'upgrade' to this and near enough breakeven, so it seems worth it to me.

I'll think about the Midi. I have a mini in the loft and I quite liked that. But I just need to see what else there is really. Still trying to get my head around what's happening with this haha.

Ooooh the Phantom 530 looks alright actually. Hadn't seen that before.

Not too good to be true I don't think. I've been in contact with the seller and it all seems legit to me. I think it was like a Cyberpower system or something along those lines that the person no longer has any use for. Probably a good price for the quick sale, or just doesn't know what it's worth. If it was more expensive than that, I think the majority of people would have been doubts about buying a second hand PC that expensive.

Going to collect it tomorrow, and no money's exchanging hands until I've seen it working anyway so I can't really see anything dodgey happening.

Haha, this one will be kept. I'm only reluctantly doing this and dropping the 350D because it is such a good price for what it is - and I was thinking of getting a new graphics card anyway - albeit nothing as good as the 690...
I'm not going to find anything better than this for a better price for a few years I don't think, so this one will be permanent.

May still fiddle around a bit with my Prodigy though
