Hey guys, just wanted to run a couple of things by and get your opinions. I'm currently running an AMD rig and I'm about to make the switch to an Intel system after seeing how Intel pretty much kicks AMD's ass in most of the reviews. I'm not bashing AMD in any way shape or form, I'm honestly happy with this system I'm currently running. I can tell a huge increase in performance over my old Intel system which was a Q6600 with a 780i ASUS P5NT-Deluxe (horrible board I should have read reviews). I built the AMD system because I thought my mobo was fried since everything was getting power and all the fans we're working but after I built the new system I found out it was the psu
... Anyways I'm rambling on I'm sorry.. Basically I'm buying the core i7 950 and I need some motherboard recommendations. I know the Sabertooth is awesome and it's defiantly my top choice so far. Can y'all recommend anything else? My budget on the mobo is about $300 US. My main use for this system is going to be gaming and getting some high 3dmarks. I'm going to wait on the 6970 as long as it takes, I just hope they don't put it off too long and I really hope it's not a disappointment. My last question is ram, which would y'all recommend? It seems that the mushkin wont be released for some time now and I'm jumping on the Tom bandwagon and not buying corsair products anymore. I made the $250.00 mistake of buying the 800d. I don't know WTF Corsair was thinking when they made that case besides trying to get you to buy there H50. I didn't really review the case as much as I should have, I mainly bought it because of the looks,size,quality and cable management and none of those mean shit if you cant keep the case cool. Thanks in advance for any help you give me.
