New build for a friend :)

Hello Ladies and Gents

Let me get straight into this... I have really got into PC's over the past few weeks since I was building my own PC xP

So my very good friend asked me to help him to build a PC that will be fast for everyday tasks and just one game which is Football Manager xDD

He wants a machine for around the £300 mark that will have 1tb of storage. I dont want him to take it to a corner shop and let these ''professionals'' build him a piece of crap so I took the challenge

I currently just built a PC for myself and I have got the i3 3220 and a Barracuda 1tb HDD and they are really fast so I thought that fitting them into his rig will be perfect.

Can anyone give some suggestions for the PSU, GPU, RAM, MOBO etc ? Much Much appreciated Just wanted to hear something from you guys because I really want him to get the best out of his money.

deffo an apu build, for 300 quid you won't get a gpu in that rig. look for the new amd apu's, from what i've heard they do quite well, definitely better than a cheap cpu gpu combo. they should be less than 100 quid.

those things can run bf3, so football manager will run just fine.

absolutely no idea unfortunately, i never really got into the very low budget area. but there are loads of apu rewiews, you will find something. some mitx fm2 mainboard.

How does your shopping list look now m8? I can't manage to get an complete PC build in my country for $300.. all I can get to gether is a motherboard, processor and a powersupply. Good luck m8, cant wait for an update on this budget build

get the best apu you can and then focus around that. Later down the road you can buy a gpu that will crossfire with the integrated gpu for a little extra speed
