New battery technology could double battery capacity in 2017

If this is the case, i'd wait to upgrade my next phone just to get this tech.

You and me both dude! I do really like my iPhone but the battery life is discraceful! I also find that after a year the battery life is considerably worse than when first purchased

If an iPhone could get this alongside wireless charging, like the Samsung's S7 Edge can do... Then it will be a total winner in my eyes and I'll purchase that shait straight away!

Iphones get the worst of it tbh. I always find they die so quickly, they must use terrible grade cells for there phones. Wouldn't surprise me tbh. Add in the fact they always have small capacity batteries, just means it has less life cycle's. So when you have less life cycle's and small capacity, it's basically set up for failure after a year. They probably do that on purpose to get people to upgrade though.
On andriod i never have this problem. My old HTC M8 and my new Nexus 5X both easily last me more than a day. I have a friend who has a 6P and is a heavy user, he charges his phone on the 2nd night and when he starts he still has 20% left in the battery. It just amazes me the differences in Android and Iphone battery lives.

But yeah, i'd definitely wait for this tech to get into the next Nexus phone. If it's better than the 5X or 6P.. that would be one insane battery life! Charge it once a week!

So I can finally use the phone for a full day without being stuck to a power point.. Hopefully this is the case. Bye bye Note 6
