Hey guys and girls

Just got back from a work/fun trip to California. Was fantastic and WOW I could sooo live there!! While I was there I bought a great little Vaio laptop for work. It's netbook size but packs quite a punch. 1.6ghz AMD Dual Core processor, 3Gb RAM, RADEON HD6310 GFX card and a few more boys and bobs. (No DvD Drive)

It was originally intended as a work laptop but after running COD MW2 on it (low Rez) I realised that I could mix business with pleasure

Now I've got Warcraft3 DOTA, Company of Heroes and many of my other old favorites running. I will defo post a small review on it when I have a chance.

Right now, I'm at home waiting for my fieance to get home. I came home early with a huge bag of gifts to surprise her. I have stuck (printed) cat paw prints all obey the house each row leading to a prezzie. I can't sit still coz of excitement. Can't wait to see her face

I got an Acer Ferrari One netbook in about October (whenever it came out) 2009.

Pretty good performance, far better than the first gen Atom could ever give.

The more powerful netbooks are very good imo, as long as the screen is bright and clear you won't have an issue with eyes or anything.

I like the look of the aced farrari

The ROG laptop is, I think, the best looking laptop around. Shaped like a stealth bomber(",)

This laptop is indeed powerful, keeps up with my old laptop which has a 1gb 8800m GTX gfx card and 4gb ram. The battery life is fantastic!! Over an hour of gaming!! 25min was the most I got on my 17' one.

I have been playing "Company of Heroes" and have no complaints at all. The lower powered gfx card proves to be a little weak to play MW2 on any acceptable rez.

I do still have a desktop that I use for playing games (proper) it's running a Phenom 2 x4 940 BE @3.6ghz, a Radeon HD 6970 and 4gb ram. It is enough for anything I need. The laptop was only bought for work use so I see it's gaming prowess as a massive bonus. Keep me sane on the train:)

Overall I'm very happy with the $550+- I spent on this laptop. Small, light and powerful enough for any of my chores. Good job Sony on another Vaio well made:)
