Hello All

Bit of a strange one but this morning i shut the pc down and I turned the power off to the downstairs sockets as i need to removed two socket faces so i could put some wallpaper up. Anyway got the job done turned the power back on and came to use the pc, done the normal turned it on and went to sort out some lunch while it booted up but when i came the pc was still sat on the BOI with a error of GPT header corruption which i thought was a little strange as the pc was fully shutdown before i turned the power off so it wasn't like it had a power failure during the shutdown, next thought was maybe some BOI's setting have been changed for some random reason during the shutdown but nope still all set as it should so next thought was nvme is dead but run the drive test thats in the BOI's on the Asus motherboard, short test passed and then the extended test passed so i was okay time to try repair windows or if that fails reinstall windows but i came out the BOI's and left it while i went to get the windows USB stick and came back to the pc on the windows 11 login screen

now i am unsure what that was all about and if i should be leaving it now to see what happens or reinstall windows 11 plus check to see if there is BOI's update for this motherboard

Sounds to me like a normal windows = crap :) all jokes aside if you've not done a format in a long time it probably wouldn't hurt to do a full format reinstall, also don't install preview updates, only full release updates for 11 as they tend to have less issues.
