Need the absolute cheapest HOME PC solution.

Okay... So if I replace G550 with G2020, will that be the complete setup then? I dont think there is any room in the budget for a graphics card, so I hope G2020 Intel HD will be able to do it alright??? And is G2020 compatible with the mobo?

They dont need OS.

Yeah, and you need to smash the screen for it to register your touch input and within a year it's so slow that you wish you'd bought that PC last year

dude i hate tablets, it makes sense for what there gonna be using it for, and it uses a lot less power

not really you can get a tablet for under £100

Though I am android fan, done testing of custom rom and kernels over at xda I would have to agree with what is posted.

a tablet although good I have an Asus transformer, just doesn't cut it for any sort of productivity.

their using it to check banks, emails and to go on ebay its nothing a tablet wont excel in really. its not like they are doing spred sheets or F@H, so i really dont see the problem

Yeah, that should be good. The beauty of this machine is that if they want, they can upgrade to an i3, i5 or even i7 in the future if they want.

i will just add that the case you are using is excellent for the money paid.

i used it in an office build for my mother a few months ago, couple that with my old amd Athlon II x3 and integrated motherboard gpu and its powering through anything thrown at it.
Very nice case!

You guys can argue which cpu is better or IGPU is better(have no idea how tablets came in a PC focused forum) but in reality the biggest difference to them will be their network speed. That will be the biggest noticable performance boost and a cpu after that would then be the most noticable. Intel HD graphics(4000 and up) are sufficent for plain browsing or youtube uses. Don't need a high end cpu
