Need Template for 775 CPU Kit

Just preppring everything for teh kentsfield installation.

Has anyone got a drawing of the the vapo LS gasket that goes around the socket on an LGA775 board?

I have the neoprene - jus need a base gasket to around the socket before I install the phase cooler.

Wait a min, since when have you have an LS???? I thought you wer Mach only?

Nowt - still got Mach with chilly head - but the LS gasket on rthe lga775 kit is exactly what I need.

Ahhh I see mate, gotcha.

Pick up some sticky neoprene or Armaflex tape (is better) and carefully cut around all the caps and whatever u need to around the socket

It's what I did for the BadAxe (well Thicky cut it) and it worked a treat, the doughnut for the evap just sat on top of the Armaflex, creating a VERY good seal.

I'll see if I have a pic of it, but can't guarentee I do.

The Tape I have is not very thick - but I guess I got layyer it so teh seems dont overlap?

Will give it a go - gonna order a set of thsoe gaskets anyhow, will retrofit when they land.

The tape I used isn't very thick either mate, it was just layered as you say. Thicky does a fantastic job at insulation so he did it for me, but everything around the socket was covered insulated.

We did the exact same thing when I phased my 7900's and not a drop of condensation and they are working perfecct still under air aswell
