Yesterday I got a new 120GB Patriot Wildfire SSD to replace my 64GB SSD that had gotten full. I moved my Windows 7 OS onto the new SSd and planned on playing around with ubuntu on the old one. Well something went wrong in the process of me doing that.

The old 64GB SSD no longer appears in the disk managment tool or the comand prompt, I tried to use the command prompt to format it. Is there anyother way to bring it back?

I used my W7 install disk.Go to the part in installation w7 where you can format disk, delete old partition and be sure you make the old ssd as primery disk, then abort w7 installation.Dont format or do anything with your new os ssd.Now you should be able to se the old ssd in windows, format and you have done your work.Worked for me,i had the same problem as you have.

well it comes up in the windows os install menue when it's getting me to select a pertition but it comes up as 2 seperate partitions that are unallocated
