need mini help

hi guys

i nee some help i wanth to buy s-ata hardedrive but the problem is you have sata1 and sata2 yes?? i don't know wich one i need on my motherboard spec table is riten that i have 2 serial ATA connectors (on my motherboard it self next to sata conectors standes sata1 and sata2) not more so wath could i do now?? hier is my motherboard spec

you can set most sata2 hard drives to sata1. Im going with a guess that your motherboard only supports sata 1, but dont quote me on that!
 
I would also suspect that it's only SATA1 compliant. As nathan said, just buy SATA2 drives as most have a jumper on the back which lets you switch it in to a SATA1 compliance mode.

Sorry I was just stating that why were incompatible, and I have heard of people having problems with those adapters although they may have been user error for all I know.
 
thx for tip but i wasen't planing to buy it í'm goin to buy IDE harddrive it's just easyer in begin i wanted sata harddrive becouse it's faster then IDE and is beter price hier in holland
 
Don't worry about the speed, unless you were going for something like a Western Digital Raptor you won't notice the difference.
