Need help with new Blu-Ray drive/software

Hey guys so my brother bought my a Blu-Ray drive and I'm having trouble playing a Blu-Ray disc.

I'm using Cyberlink PowerDVD9 that came with the drive but I keep getting the error, unsupported file format

Does anyone have any ideas?

So it turns out that the software bundled with the drive, PowerDVD9 was the issue. I downloaded PowerDVD11 and it works fine.

So can anyone recommend me any software to watch Blu-Rays on?

I use power dvd 11 works fine for most movies out there. If it won't play it then I use VLC.

Everything except Blu-Ray it would seem

I think that the software has to be licensed by Sony in order to read it.

I've got the PowerDVD11 trial now, kinda wish that 9 would work seen as I got it with the drive itself

It also won't let me play them on my second screen because it is connected via VGA
