Oki I own a antec isk 300-150 (150 watt) that runs 2x ssd a dvd/rw slim drive and 2x80mm fans and a e350 motherboard Problem is the motherboard is faulty so need a replace my set up...Iv seen on other forums of folk running i3 cpu and a graphics card and some even running amd llano a8 but when I use the online psu calculator it recommends a psu of 180+,

I dont kno what Id be safe to run I would to love to run a i3 or even a amd llano a4/a6 but dont wanna damage any of the hardware....eventually I would like to replace the internal psu with a 150 watt pico psu.....This is not a MEDIA build but a small form factor pc to do basic computing tasks and playing the odd game that is old as the hills when Im not tattoing

So will I be safe runing an i3 or a amd llano

I think you should be fine if you run say a SB 2105 which has the advantage of having the Intel HD3000 graphics chip on die. Its TPD is 65W and thats if the gpu & cpu are flat out. I plan on building a similar system with a 160xt pico psu.

You need to bear in mind that you are fairly limited to coolers for that case if you didn't get another all-in-one motherboard.

I looked at using it for a media build and struggled to find a CPU cooler that would fit, it's possible that the stock Intel cooler won't even fit.

Oki CPU coolers isn't an issue...I really need to kno can I easily run a amd llano a4 or i3 easily....if not its back down the e350 root.

Just want a basic pc for my shop

If you got a low powered i3 you might be safer, they run at 35W rather than 65W, they use the 'T' postfix, entry model is 2100T.

I've been running an E5200 (TPD 65W) on a 150W pico psu for a couple of years, together with an ssd, dvd drive, three 80mm fans and the cpu cooler. Don't bother with the low powered stuff the 2105 with the on die HD 3000 gpu is the way to go.
