Hi,
I recently built a new water cooled system, but I placed my 2nd gfx card in the wrong slot (see picture, the lower card is in a 16x PCIe which only runs at 8x, which I think is affecting the SLI performance).
I chose to do it that way becaue of lack of room when placing the 2nd card in the lowest PCIe slot (further down than the existing one). When in the lower slot, I couldn't get the tubing to go into the water block without the tube bending. I've since been told to look into getting some 90 degree connectors.
My question is, how would I go about draining the system? This is the first water cooled system I've bought, and I didn't fit the water blocks onto the cards, they came pre-fitted in a special edition of the card. I don't want to take all the tubes off and have the coolant leak all over the electronics (although I think the liquid is non-corrosive, so it would just need a few days to dry out if that happened I guess). Is there a best way of doing it?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I don't suppose anyone knows of any UK stores which sell 90 degree connectors. The one's I seem to find are all US
Cheers
