Need build advice please

I'm currently working on a build and would like some feedback mostly pertaining to RAM. I'm not sure if it would be better to use 1600mhz with lower timings or 2000mhz with higher timings. From my understanding I could buy 2000mhz and drop the core speed and lower the timings however I am not sure if that is correct or which would be more beneficial. I would like anywhere from 8gb to 16gb for under $400. I was thinking of going with corsair dominators with an air cooler. Please give feedback on which ram I should use or any changes I should make to the build. My setup will be used for gaming and I am planning to build:

Thermaltake armor+

Asus Crosshair iv (if they fixed the northbridge heatsink issues)

AMD x6 3.2ghz 1090t (oced to 4 or 4.2 ghz depending on stability)

Corsair h70 heatsink (replacing the stock fans with Thermaltake 120mm x 25mm for higher static pressure and airflow)

Kingwin Mach 1 800 watt PSU

WD Caviar Black 640gb 64 cache 6gb sata

hd 5970 (probably HIS or Sapphire)

Windows 7 x64

RAM ??

with you using AMD i would get 1600 and tighter timings,i dont think AMD likes 2000mhz,4gb will be fine for games and dominator gt's are fine aswell

just overclock with the HT it would be easyer than playing with the bus and multi

get the DH14 cooler

and a corsair one over the kingwin

thats the RAM i would use,you could get 6-6-6-20 timings with a little tinker with them

Thanks for the fast reply, I was looking at DH14 and I'm afraid its way too big to fit 4 DIMMs of ram with a ram cooler. I would prefer 8gb of ram if possible, do you think http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145314&Tpk=CMP8GX3M4A1600C8 would be sufficient. Seams to be a good price and includes the cooler as well, but would it keep up with the specs of the rest of the system?

You dont need a ram cooler dude

yer you dont need a ram cooler.

why do you need 8gigs for gaming 4gb is more than enough and then you can get the DH14,and AMD is only duel channel remember, and using all the slots will hurt you overclocking

just get 4gb that way u will use less slots and use the dual channel

I agree the fan is not needed, however the ram you recommended also includes the fan. I have decided to go with the DH14 though. Thanks

i think the gt's are bundles with them, but i aint sure.

your paying for the ram tho fella just throw or sell the fan.

good choice on the cooler,i wann see some temps with that chip
