8Gb Corsair Xms3 1333Mhz DDR3 Dual mem kit £82.92

64GB Corsair Nova Series 2.5 SSD £93.67

Bitfenix Colossus venom full tower pc case £117.98

Zotac GeForce GTX460 1024mb £157.66

Noctua NH-U12p SE2 Dual Fan Quiet CPU Cooler £51.64

700W OCZ Modxstream Pro Modular Power Supply £77.65

I would suggest that you get a different power supply. The OCZ really aren't that great. Go for something from Seasonic, Enermaxx or Corsair.

What are you going to be using this rig for? Because from what you said it's gaming and with that in mind I would suggest you get something like the 2500K, if you want to overclock, or a non K sandy bridge processor and motherboard. You don't need six cores to run games

For graphics cards, the 460 is a great buy, but you may want to consider one with an after market heatsink, or you even may want to wait till the 560 will get released.

£1000 max includ shipping

i will go for the corsar psu

just going to be using it for playing some games am not a big gammer just got Call of Duty - Black Ops

im not planing to overclock it not too shour about overclocking

The i5 2500 will beat the AMD 1090T and the likes in most tests, other than immense video rendering etc. For gaming you really only need a dual core processor, because most of it depends on the graphics card. So with the 2500 being a quad core you will be alright.

You also may want to look at the 600 pound gaming rig that Overclock3D, because I honestly don't think you will need to spend 1000 pounds in order to get a great gaming oriented gaming rig.

Also most games, can't tend to use 6 threads.

i5 2400 which costs less than a 1090T. Should also be better at gaming.

Than get the MSI Ph67-GD65 from Aria for 143 pounds including VAT. Since it won't look as wrong as having an mATX motherboard in a BitFenix Colossus.

You also don't need to have 8GB of RAM, just get 4GB of Mushkin Blackline.

For the graphics card, I would probably get 6870, it's slightly faster than the 460, and you have he funds for it.

Maybe a 650W Gold PSU, by Seasonic from Aria.

am not in to intel i prefer AMD thats what i have allways used and its been ok for me

i have decided to go with some of thes new parts if thay are ok

Asus Crosshair III Formula amd 790fx am3 £107.99

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor £147.91

4Gb Corsair Xms3 1333Mhz DDR3 Dual mem kit £37.91

1TB Samsung spinpoint F3 HD103SJ £40.78

Antec Nine Hundred Two £93.66

XFX Amd ATI Radeon HD 6850 1024mb £146.83

Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator and Fan Quiet CPU Cooler £62.48

650W Corsair TX650W Power Supply £67.52

need the fast cpu as i tend to do lot of multitasking running about 4-5 things at same time without slowing down

burning cds, playing music, browsing internet, running norton internet security......

i dont play alot of games much as long as it playes most of the latest games without laging

i like the first person shooter games call of duty and delta force games so on....

Dude if you want the best performance for a lower price go for intel sandybridge IMHO it kicks major ass. Also go for hd 6870.

If your only gaming and multi-tasking then go for sandy bridge you really don't need 6 cores mate.. Most games dont even use 4 cores.. And again for gaming i'd say get gtx570 or wait for the gtx 560 to come.. Theres really no point getting a 6 core unless your gunna be rendering things buddy

intels probly better it is tru but it isnt as cool as an underdog AMD

also I found that mobo's where more expensive for intel stuff. I have an OCZ mod extreme psu and its never given me any trouble. Also if you are running a 460 on a 790 chip set board do a google search on your board with that card, if your going intel its not a prob...the GB SOC 460 is on offer from ebuyer atm with free delivery for £160, very much worth it.

Just go with the flow with your build dont listen to much to everyone else or your end up with the same as everyone else which is lil boring i think?
