hello overclock3d im in need of some advice. im currently using my 50" lg plasma tv as my monitor and i have 2 spare 32" lg plasmas i want to put portrait by the side to triple screen for gaming and im wondering would one 3GB MSI Radeon HD 7970 Twin Frozr III be enough or should i get 2 to crossfire any advice will be greatly appreciated

My current specs:
MSI X79A GD45 (8D)
Intel i7 3820 OC @ 4.4 Ghz and water cooled
16GB Gskill.Ripjawz ram OC @ 2400 mhz
MSI GTX 660 Ti PE
Corsair HX750 PSU

Iam using one 7970 for triple screens and tbh depending on what games you play and at what res I seriously think crossfire is the way to go or get one seriously good card like the R9-290X which is about to be released soon then slap another in at a later date

thanks

i want to run 1080p so i think i will go for crossfire and the games i play are borderlands, just cause 2, saints row 4, need for speeds, dirt, wrc, gta 4, battlefield and most other racing games

Crossfire will help in Battlefield. Racing games are never demanding(at least from what i know).

More power will be needed for 3 1080p screens though so Crossfire would help greatly for any newer games.
