Need a 1tb drive

Hey guys

Are they all the same? Speed? Reliability? Price ;)?

After one for storing vids, pics, music, live tv etc.

Sammy F1's, just brought 2 for around £70 each, not used them yet, but they are the fastest.
 
But will all that extra speed benefit me?

How much are standard "slower" drives? (lol havent even looked yet)

if the sammys are only like £10 more then obviously id go for them :D

AFAIK the sammy's are the cheapest anyway.. They have more data per platter, so use less platters, bringing down costs.. The higher density then means faster speeds..

You wont regret it, i did my research before purchasing :P
 
for storage u wont see a big differnce, also becuase there is 330GB per platter (i think) it wont switch platters so much and that will increase life spam and quilter.
 
Well, getting 1tb drive is a good idea. I did the same but split it up into 2 500GB drives and I also have an external 500GB drive, just in case.
