N14 thermal paste

Silver

hey everyone i was wondering if it's worth it to remove the stock thermal paste on the N14 and put a new arctic silver 5.

same about the chipset and GPU.

The stock thermal paste is supposed to be very good. I don't think that I'd bother unless you're not happy with your temps. I used AS5, but then I use it for everything and I had some spare.

The NT-H1 paste is pretty good to be fair I have used AS5 and Tuniq TX-3 in the past and the NT-H1 is just as good as those if not better by about 1-2c. It takes about a day to cure and there isn't really anything you can do to speed it up, the longer it takes to cure the better really.

I have my CPU running 100% load 24/7 with my D14 using the NH-T1 paste and my temps are around 55c and on a really hot day 57-59c and that's with both fans in silent mode.

in the first days, should i overclock my pc or just or just leave it at stock until all the paste cures?

also i read that i can stress the cpu(like play a game) and then just turn off the pc to let the paste cure in room temp.

Overclock if you want it won't prevent it from curing it will do it's thing over time. When the CPU gets hot and then cools down a bit it will cure after so many time of doing it.

It took about a day for me, temps went from around 58c on laod to around 55c once it had cured.
