My Spare Rig, Morpheus

This is my spare rig. It's built from some spare parts and some new ones. It's used mostly for my wife to browse the web or do online shopping. It's also used when my two nephews come over to visit. It runs beautifully and I absolutely love the HAF XB case I decided to take a risk on. It's a shame it doesn't get used a whole lot. :(

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K @ 4.7GHz
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3h
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
GPU: 2 MSI GTX 560Ti Hawk (SLI)
SSD: Crucial 128GB MSATA
HDD: 500GB Western Digital Blue 7200RPM

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 500w
Case: CoolerMaster HAF XB
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12P SE2
Mouse: Razer Imperator 2012
Keyboard: Logitech MK320
Mousepad: Razer Goliathus Standard M-Speed
Display: 22" AOC LCD Monitor (1680x1050)

Nice bit of kit ! :D
I think you'll find that the Noctua tower is in fact pointing in the correct direction to exhaust.

BUT can it run minecraft ? Maybe the Browser version :P

I quite liek the case. Makes me wanna build something crazy in there. And by that i mean like a barbie house or something. I know i am weird, you dont have to tell me. :D

*air quote* web browsing *air quote*

Seriously though, very nice rig, I like it.

sli for webbrowsing. okay.
but it's a tidy rig in general, i like it. if i were you i would sell at least one of the GPUs, nobody will notice. or ofc you participate in some @home project.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I ordered a Corsair CX750M PSU because the Thermaltake 500w can't handle the system running at full settings. Hooked up another test power supply and it worked fine. The new PSU is a flat cable modular design which will allow me to make all wires damn near invisible. My main rig uses the same style cabling here:

FYI, the photo needs to be updated since it's currently running a GTX 680 and I've sleeved the 24pin and 8 pin connections.

I know the system is complete overkill for web browsing. It's mostly for when my nephews come over and all they want to do is game. Although they do enjoy minecraft, they love playing GTA4 and BattleField 3 as well. They came to visit Sunday and were hooked to Bioshock, so the comp got some use. As for breaking up the SLI, I considered it. But can't find any good buyers for one of the cards.

Fold with it when you're not using it? :D
I plan on setting that up as soon as the new PSU arrives and I rebuild it.
