My small area

So I thought I might as well show my gaming area as I now have something to be vaguely proud of :D. Both the chair and desk can be found at ikea, the desk itself is a bit small for my liking and I can't fit my main rig and speakers on the desk without feeling crampt.

So this is what it currently looks like, it is going to be a pain to keep clean as dust loves piano black with a passion.

My keyboard is a cheap (but imo excellent) Microsoft Sidewinder. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a budget keyboard for gaming. My mouse is a dell mouse I've had for a while and it is due to be replaced. Monitor wise I have a single Acer S420HLbd, I'm eventually planning to have three of them for a nice monitor combo.

In terms of audio I have currently got a pair of archaic beige harman/kardon HK195s plugged into my PC. They amaze me in terms of sound quality and I believe they are about 10 years old as I found them in the loft. The other set of speakers on my desk are a pair of (again old, I bashed my head on them when I was a toddler and have the dent to prove it ) Mission model 70 MK IIs. They are connected to an AIWA rx-50 "stereo receiver" which does the job and the speakers themselves have great bass and alright everything else, not bad for a pair of speakers older than me :D.

I run three rigs, currently, my file storage server (i3 550, dead motherboard and 2.5tb of storage), a LAN project whioch I will be selling to a friend when completed and my current rig, the Octobox. it has an 8320 @ 4.03ghz, 8gb xms3 RAM running at 1333mhz, Asus M5A99X EVO 'board and a R9 280x DCUII. I hope to get another 'card soon :D. With the exception of video rendering I have been presently surprised by the 8320's performance. Bar one pesky PDF file it hasn't missed a beat, which is great considering I had bent the cpu pins and covered it in thermal paste when I replaced the cooler (fixed easily with some thermal paste cleaner, luck and some old credit cards).

The 'box at night (gg 4s, you do night so well :banghead: ):

The inside of the rig, complete with badly placed cooler (I have new thermal paste on order):

I'm also going to leave this image here, I left the room for a few minutes and when I came back my friends had stacked everything electrical. -sigh-

What speakers and amp is it?

Old in speakers perspective isn't directly a bad thing, some old vintage equipment sounds just sick even compared to todays high end.

Speakers are Mission model 70 MK IIs and the amp is an AIWA RX-50. As I mentioned the speakers have been in my family longer than me, not sure about the amp.

Cosy doesn't quite cover it xD. The lack of space is a pain. I've had to move most of my pc bits that I don't use (namely my Alienware R4 case project) into a cupboard.
I've also since moved my server-desktop into storage as the i7 that was going into it turned to be knackered and I'm currently hunting for a decent OCing 'board for the i3 550.

Updated OP with the results of these items ;).

We got the same chair then:

Also, nothing wrong with old speakers hehe:

15+ year old Sony Xbass AV speakers from a Dolby pro logic set i bought as a teenager lol
Nothing beats a stereo subwoofer speaker system imo ^_^

I found the chair has gotten quite saggy and now has a permanent bum print but I love it :D.

Yeah, I guess with speakers if it ain't broke...

I have that chair too :D

I'm sorry but every time I see this thread name, I can't help but think it's referring to the poster's nether regions ;)
