Nice rig anyway, done any benchmarks like 3DMark06? I want to see how good those 8600GT's are.. :)

No benchmarks yet,not 100% about benchmarking and whats the best way to do it,

Cheers Tony

Theres not really any specific way to do it, just download 3DMark06 and run it on your computer with standard settings. Although, I dont know if SLi is enabled on 3DMark06, you will have to ask other people.

There is also lots of benchmarking/overclocking tutorials and videos on youtube if you want to look at them. They teach you alot if your a begginer on computers like me. You can also download different benchmarking programs to see how well your computer runs, and then if it doesnt run to the spec at which you want it to, you can buy a couple of fans from your local PC store and overclock :)

:cool:Cheers for info. At the mo CPU 4200+ 2.2Ghz overclocked to 2.8Ghz been running for about 1 month no probs so far.

Colours

:wavey:At the mo its ever black for chassis and dark blue for the side panels and motherboard tray or red chassic and light blue for side panels and motherboard tray. I hope to see powder coaters tomorrow or tuesday to see what colours they stock. Then i will have a better idea what i would like:wavey:

Just got quote back off powder coaters. £30 for one colour £40 for 2 colours ie chassis one, side a different colour. Not bad price really, will see if i can get some discount if i ask for some sponsorship for the case.

Cheers Ionicle.

Hope to upgrade to an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ 3.00GHz (Socket AM2),with watercooling for CPU and for the 2 8600GT cards.

Yes I will be entering the WCUK comp with the case still working on a few designs before starting the Mod.
