corrr sort your cables! The CPU 8pin power cables need to go up the back of the mobo tray dude. Id seriously spend some time rerouting all those cables. also get a decent heatsink on that cpu, I never use the rampage extra NB cooler either as its too noisey and is a complete pitFa for decent CPU heatsinks.
Hi Thanks for the tips, I didn't think the cpu 8-pin lead would reach up the back? I'll give it a go in a min.
CPU H/Sink, hmm not sure about this one, it seems to be fine, current temp idle according to PC Probe II now is 27C, IOH (northbridge?) with the rog fan is now running at 45C before the fan fitting it was aways much higher at about 58C.
I'm only running at 4GHz on cpu, you reckon I need a bigger cpu heatsink?

In this situation you'll be better to just start over, try to redo it one at a time will probably get messy. So there are 5 cable management holes in the case: bottom, top left, top right, middle right and bottom right.
Top left: The rear and top fan along with the CPU power.
Bottom: Front panel connectors and all cables from PSU, if you can't fit all the cables, than just the nescessary ones and coil up theo nes you don't need and tape them to the bottom of the case.
Bottom right: SATA cables should enter here. All hard drive power and SATA cables should come out behind the hard drive bay.
Middle right: Motherboard power, graphics card power.
Top right: All the optical drive connectors.
Front panel I/O should stay behind the motherboard at all time.
Once that's all done just bundle up the cables, use zip ties to tie them to the little hooks you have at the back of the motherboard. Keep all cables out of line of sight and you should be done. Sorry if this is condescending. :/

Ok guys I've had a good look around the PC regarding cable routing....
1. The 8 pin CPU power cable doesn't reach from the back, way too short.
2. Most of the remaining cables are similarly short, so not as much flexibility as you might think, if I get a 'Bigger' psu I assume these will have longer power leads..
As for cooling with standard cooler, I've just whacked it up to 4.2GHz and belted 3DMark Vantage, all temps within limits.
My 600W psu was load tested on the mains power-in side with a watts power meter, results were interesting.
CPU @4.2GHz
At desktop idle = 135W
3DMark Vantage (22025 3d marks)
Jane = 297W
Calico = 284W
CPU AI 320W
Crash n Burn = 364W
All above short peaks only.

Hehe... Zeals recommended the Noctua D-14 cooler... I have a feeling it won't fit in HAF 912 case? as all 6 mem slots are full? it would be a shame to buy it, only to find it won't fit
Also been checking on 3DMark site, my 3D marks look way off compared to same cpu & gpu's from others at lower clocks?? I wonder if my bios settings aren't limiting full performance?

Thanks Zeals for the detailed info, it seems my psu leads are a little on the short side to do this right, at least it's a modular psu, so I don't have any unecessary cables.
I'll have a re-think on this one.

On the note of the D14 I think it would fit here is a picture of a SilverArrow in the case that I found on the internet, which I believe is slightly bigger?

Many thanks for the links to the cables, very useful. Maybe a bigger psu will have longer cables? as long as I can get a modular one.. although my 600W seems to be handling everything fine, even at 4.2GHz clock.

Hi Zeals thanks for the info, your case looks similar in many ways, we even have the same size psu, I checked your link, my mem is DDR3 Corsair XMS3-Series so would be compatible.
The only worry I can see, will I still be able to use my 200mm fan at the top of the case, as the D14 looks very close to the top, and the fan is 30MM deep?
I'll have to order a D14 and checkout any clashes.
