My little hole in the wall

Got a new camera should I update the pics not much has changed but the computer? It is a cannon T3i 18 megapixel so much better than an iPhone.

Update

So I made some changes most notable is that I built a new rig. I moved the desk area around and added a comfy chair for playing the Xbox. Also built a server which you can't see in the pics. I will take some more shots showing the server later. Enjoy the update!

Thanks Guys!

Ahh great place to come home from work into, crack open a cold beer and your good to go :)

Yes it makes for a nice short trip for the next one on those weekend cram sessions from college, I am surprised that the wife let me have it. Everyone should have one (the fridge that is). :)

Awesome setup. How is those monitors working with the 6850? Are you getting decent performance in games?

The monitors are 1600x900 single so the card does not have to push as much as a 1080 setup but it does struggle on Metro 2033 in eyefinity so I have not tried Battlefield 3 or any other newer games yet. But Crysis and even Deus Ex: Human Revolution got 60fps on eyefinity with that card as well as some of the other not so demanding games. Over all I am satisfied with the card. I will be looking to move to the 7000 series once the 8000s come out and the prices drop enough for this budget minded college student to use his book money on one.

Home Server

This is it tucked away sort of...

Farther out shot and now you can hardly make out the PS3, XBox360 and just beyond that my TV....

And the back side..

I moved it up there off the carpet cause of heavy dust build up...
So far it works wonders as I back up 5 computers around the house to this thing and it acts as a central storage. I also house all the network gear in here as well. Well if anything changes I will post it up but that is it for now... Enjoy

The new build looks great man! I have been liking the C70's more and more recently. Do you have specs for the new build?

Bitfenix fans in the front and Corsair AF in the back and bottom.

You can check out the build log here http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=44379

Anyone else notice the toilet role in the first set of pics?

Swinkid, the toilet paper roll was used instead of tissue as I don't see spending the extra for boxes of tissues, it's cheaper to just take them from the bulk package TP I get every month. And as I had a bit of a cold when I took those pictures I did not see that removing the roll was a priority as I thought most members would understand. Long hours at the computer last thing I want to do is keep getting up for a wipe of the nose. Also that's why you don't see it in the second set as I no longer had a cold.. I have seen one mounted to a desk, I think in OC3D's forums, I like that idea and might put one on my next desk so I can always have a tissue handy.:)
