I thought I'd post my newly updated HTPC since I'm quite pleased with the result.
This started off with a different APU and motherboard in a Micro ATX tower, and has gone through quite a few changes but now it actually is a HTPC and looks the part to boot.
I was debating upgrading the A6 to an A10-7850k, but SteamOS isn't proving revolutionary or very exciting at the moment so the little dual core A6 is going to stay there for now, since the only stuff this gets used for is movies/TV and Netflix.
Another thing is maybe replace the PSU with a passive or mod it and change the fan to a quiter one to either reduce or get rid of the PSU fan noise. But for the moment it's next to silent which is exactly what you want in a HTPC.
Anyway enough text, here are the full specs and some pictures:
APU: AMD A6-6400k
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI
Memory: 4GB G-Skill DDR3-1333MHz
HDD: Western Digital Scorpio Blue 1TB
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9A
Case: Silverstone Ml03
PSU: Corsair VS350
OS: Windows 7 x64
Keyboard/Touchpad Combo: Logitech K400r
It's a bit of a tight fit to get the optical drive and PSU in there; a modular PSU would probably have problems. I'll probably remove that optical drive at some point though. The case is a bit bigger than it needs to be with the ITX board since it can accommodate a full Micro ATX board.
That thing on the right is the wifi antenna which connects to an Intel AC7260 on the motherboard, I guess it's kind of funny having Intel wifi on an AMD board, but it works well so I can't complain. ^_^

This Noctua cooler is a little bit of a tight fit on this particular board with the memory, there's only 1/2mm to spare. If you'd memory with a heatsink then it wouldn't really fit. This is Gigabyte's fault though, not Noctua's; it's the only mini-ITX FM2+ board that has this issue.
