My first proper gaming rig.

Its not insanely special as its mostly just matching parts, but I am still very happy :)!

I run an Intel 120GB SSD in the back with the OS, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB for all the games. It all sits in a Carbide 540 Air, where I have removed the bays in the back so its nice and open (easy cable tidying!). the "hotswap" bays have been moved and hooked up to each of the SSDs.
Note: the mechanical HDD will be gone very soon, just moving stuff over to the samsung SSD right now while I took these pics (hence the reason its not all the way in).

Its very silent even when I run Prime95, all fans are quiet edition SP and AF fans. In total 3 140 AF fans, and 2 SP fans (have 2 more for push pull later, I just need the screws!).

the CPU (4770k) is stable and tops at around 80-83c with prime95 (I have been running it for hours yes), at 4.4Ghz. I do not want to massively overclock the CPU so 4.4 right now is what I am very happy with :).

Yea, all in all, very happy with this rig so far :).

I am not very happy with the front HDD bays, but so far it will make due (after I did the SSD mod to it!)

Very nice rig man !

But i would flip the H100i fans around to exhaust and set the rear one as intake.

Also you didnt run into problems with your front I/O cables because the connectors are located on the right hand side of the board. On my Z77 GD 65 Gaming they are in the middle (instead of the debug led on yours).

I alsolike how you mounted your ssd, good solution, Kudos !

Overall very tidy and neat system!

Thanks for the input!

Good point about the fans, I just drew up the air flow on a papir and it makes more sense indeed, will do the swap tonight! Cheers!

Yea I did notice it was the z77 board in question after posting, made me feel a bit like a donky haha!

I think its a shame to hide the SSDs in the back, so I took (sadly only had one right now!) the SSD mounts from my last case, painted it black and threw it in there - with good results!

Appreciate it! :)

very nice looking rig clean tidy well done mate
I like the case bet its easy as pie to work on

It was stunning, and very easy to work with. The pictures does not do this case justice, it is soo much more nice when you see it with your own eyes!

Thanks! I was a nightmare with cables before TTL, made me appreciate tidy rigs!

Lovely job mate. Can see a lot of effort went into it. Loving the Air 540 also, it really does look like a joy to build in.
