My First Build Wife's PC LULU

Hi guys just wanted to show off my just finished but never really finished system for my wife. Its my first ever leap into building a pc and I am quite proud of how it came out and my wife is happy so I guess I did ok.

Its a Fractal Define R4 White with Side window and I for one am quite pleased on how it came out. Its not watercooled or anything like that but that is the next step in the evolution when I get more money and some more confidence in what I am doing as well.

Well here it is and I would like to hear what you guys think I hope you like her. Also on top of that I had to build the desk from scratch as well so I improvised because we had a small space and we could not find a small enough desk that was big enough for the PC. IKea helped with that, the place where the PC is inserted is from IKEA but the table top and legs are all custom cut and build by me for the small space we have. Hope you guys like and I would love opinions.

Also I have since redone some of the wiring and added some Bitfenix Alchemy cables to the build as well as placed the 2 SSD's in the back of the case. And also I have gotten rid of the loaner monitor and got a Dell U2412M I think is the monitor. Great monitor and got it for a great price so no complaints.

Thanks for the kind word I wish I could put in on the desk but it wont fit with the huge Monitor and the PC on top of the desk. I will fix that soon when I move everything into the new wife cave.

Thank You everyone for the words of encouragement, I am now hooked on computer building and I want to get into modding and overclocking in general. I already overclocked my Ivybridge cpu to 4.2 and I want to try 4.5 this weekend.

Turned out pretty darn clean if I do say so myself. Know the feel of building a rig for the misses... only in my case hers is now BY FAR better than mine... x-P.

Look at it this way, too: if at any point she stops finding you handsome, she can now at LEAST find you handy 8-D

Thanks for the kind words I have alot of learning to do still and I am thoroughly enjoying the journey of pc building. And yes that is true she does not have a reason to dump me when I get old I will just build her that house she wants lol :)

Good stuff m8 :) Really need to see all the pictures and one of the completed build. U know u can remove that ugly plastic connector on the drive/storage-bays? Where did u end up mounting the last two fans?

And...I have to agree - Its almost a shame not showing this off.

btw - small error in your signature - PSU.
