My 3 Monitor Eyefinity Gaming Setup

Hello, this is my desk area which I sometimes use when my friends come round. People are always amazed by it and I like showing it off lol :lol:

Some old hardware compared to the new stuff out now but still does the job pretty well.

Anyway i know its all a little messy and the picture quality aint great but thought id share with you guys

Specs -

1090T 6 Core @ 4ghz

8GB Corsair Dominator 1600mhz

Asus Crosshair IV Formula

GS800 Corsair PSU

3 x Samsung 1050x1680 Monitors. My other Monitor is ASUS 3D 120hz 24"

Kingston Hyper X 120GB SSD

Corsair H50 Liqid Cooler

Asus HD 7950 and when i am using Eyefinity 2 x HD 5850s

NZXT FULL Phantom

Lol i know they a fat bezels but i couldnt afford anything else to be honest. Them monitors cost me £25 each!! lol

Them monitors look awesome for the money, really nice colours and nice contrast.

I'd try and get the landscape to be honest, even if it means putting the PC on the floor or something.

Gaming like that, and just using them like that generally just seems really awkward to me.

I've had them in landscape and I prefer them in portrait as the area of view is way better, and unlike landscape you don't need to move your head around to see what's going on in the game.

And when I am doing general work on the pc, if I just want to use one monitor I can just move one monitor forward and twist it one and I am in landscape mode and set my profile on catalyst control. But I hardly use the pc for anything else.

Look how tidy that case is hmmm i am taking notes, i have often wanted more vertical view in the cockpits of the cars i race but im not sure i could sacrifice the horizontal view for it each to their own nice setup mate.
The sub is bugging me you get a better bass depth and feel when pointed downwards

Some people may say the bezel is too fat but really you don't notice very much when playing and doesn't bother me at all.

Another thing people are saying is why did i not just use a large 40" display, yes if i wanted a single monitor i could just use one huge 40".

A single monitor wont give you higher resolution than what i am getting unless i have a 4K monitor which costs a lot of money, i spent under £90 for all 3. And playing with 3 x 1050x1680 looks way more immersive than a single 1080p display.

I probably wouldn't be able to get used to that type of monitor setup...I like watching movies/shows and having a set up like that would definitely make me go cross-eyed. If the bezels were thinner, it might be nice, though. Coding, on the other hand, with that monitor setup would be better, depending on how you set up your IDE, imo.

Defo not ideal for movies and general use, i hear that but awesome for playing games.

As i am not using the PC much i dont mind it this way, it does take up a fair bit of space but its all good.

The bezels aint really as nad as you think you dont even notice them when gaming.

I will be starting my new build soon and will be sticking to one single monitor but the new build will probs be downstairs.
