My 1st Overclock Settings

Hello Everyone

My names john, Im fairly new to the forums and i was looking for some info or some tweaks or anything i can do to improve my overclock settings.

I also have corsair DDR3 Memory that should clock to 1866MHZ i can only get 1604mhz in my bios. If any 1 that could help with that would be superb.I Think i have the settings ok but an experts opinion would be even better

Asus Rampage 2 extreme bios v1504.

Cpu Fan= titan fenrir xmas edition.

Here's some images of my bios and cpuz settings. I have only ran an intel burntest dont know much about prime YET any help would be apprecaited

A few things you could check with your memory:

1. Alter the divider, won't be called that, think it'll be titled DRAM frequency but I can't see from the minuscule first BIOS screenshot, it'll be an option that usually lets you choose between 3 different memory speeds.

2. Raise the BCLK, this will increase the memory speed according to the divider.

3. Use XMP if it's available, that'll do everything for you.

P.S. A divider is what determines your memory speed relative to your BCLK, they both directly affect each other.

Thanks for the reply, I have changed the bios 1 pic to let you see it better, the dram frequency doesnt show my 1866mhz settings

ill change the Blck and see if it changes anything

Yep you either need to raise the BCLK and you're RAM speed will go up with it or lower BCLK and select a higher DRAM frequency in the list as the options you're given will all change when you change the BCLK.
