It's no surprise to find Modern Warfare 2 has been banned in Russia until the "Airport" mission is eliminated from the game. Activision are also thinking strongly about charging for online services in their games.

Kinda ironic that they don't mind the decades of C'n'C and the maybe hundreds of other games that have depicted Russian areas.

.. not concerned when it's Germans, Arab nations, African nations, communities.

And there are a whole load of car-games out there where u can run over as many civilians as u like.

Which was the game where u had a Whitehouse scene ?

I'd love a game dev to make the USA (or UK, whatever), out to be the bad guys. Kind of Team America but serious. Can you imagine the throwback.

Sure Russia are annoyed at this, it really doesn't depict Russians in a good light, if it was the UK/US/France etc then there would be annoyed people.

I was ready to rant about keeping other games out of Blizz battle.net, but upon going to the linked source there's nothing about it (that the search could find under Activision anyway).

Can somone link me to the full article?

Apologies HAM. I did link within the body of the text but as I'd used multiple sources and combined into a single article I couldn't use them all as the main source.

Sorry for any confusion caused.
