Hi guys. I know this isn't the new build forum but I'm building my first PC since Pentium 2 days and need some RAM advice. I'm going with the d14 so I've chosen Redline Ridgeback The only place I have been able to find it in stock is eBay, an American seller called RamExperts. Ages ago(the review is on this very site) TTL reviewed some 1600mhz Dimms with cas 6 latency. I'm going to be running a 3570k and while I appreciate I may get no tangible performance from any higher than 1600mhz I'd like some OC headroom(should I dare) and future proofing, so I'd ideally like 1866 or 2133. Any Redline Rideback I can find now seems to have worse timings, so I was wondering if anyone knows why the latency seems to be worse now than then. Or maybe I know f*** all about memory. Either way help is welcome. Yes I'm aware I ramble. Ta muchly.
