Multiple screens on AMD cards?

Hey guys,

Wanted to get some opinions on this.
I am currently using 3570k, corsair AX860 with two 660's to power a 3 screen setup for gaming. But with games like watchdogs, the division and hopefully GTAV (rockstar please) coming soon I'm thinking of changing graphics cards.

I have heard about issues of AMD cards and multiple screens when it comes to things like frame rating over a configuration like mine. Would you still recommend AMD for me if their new card turns out to be a good deal? Or am I really only able to look at Nvidia alternatives that don't appear to have these issues?

Thanks for reading!

AMD cards tend to do better for multi-monitor set-ups because they have more and somewhat quicker VRAM. If you get something like a GTX 780 though, you'll be fine as well.

Really depends on what kind of budget you have.

AMD cards also require an active display port adapter, whilst most Nvidia cards can just go DVI-DVI-HDMI.

Depending on budget, I'd go with a 780 like Feronix suggested, or a 690 if you can find one cheap.

Bear in mind - whichever solution you go for will still struggle with games at ultra settings at 5760x1080, so even with a 690 be prepared to take things down to medium/high.
