MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming overclocking issues

hello oc3d,

ask you may have seen i just finished my new haswell rig.
wanted to some overclocking now but ran into a problem
i can't change the multiplier at all.
tried changing settings around, enabling oc genie and then disabling it again and updated the bios
it just won't let me change it no matter what i do

Try flashing the BIOS with MSI's latest v1.2 BIOS?

i had a similar on my 77GD65, flipped the BIOS switch and the second BIOS was
tunable. apparently the RMA BIOS was different, flashed the BIOS (same version)
and voila! both were tunable (left 2nd BIOS alone)

i said i did that..


problem is actually fixed, wasn't a problem with the motherboard at all.
i'm just so use to pressing enter before typing in a value. apparently you just have to type it on that board. lol
