im trying to overclock my i5 2500k on a MSI Z77A-G45. currently im using OC geni which has it at 4.2Ghz running nice and cool but i would like to try and push for 4.5Ghz. the problem im having is that when in the bios i cant change the Voltage and i was wondering is that somethign to do with the MOBO or is there a setting to unlock it.

i am assuming that OC genie has locked the bios, try turning oc genie off and the try overclocking. Intel has a program that you can overclock with and i think its alot easier than overclocking in your bios
