MSI To Offer 55% Off P55

Had it in my cart and about to pay, but when I logged into Paypal, it said £180. That sucks.

Surely if you get all the way to paying it should still stay at the lower price.

Pah..

That's the thing... I probably wouldn't use it until next year, by which point I expect Sata 6GB/s will be on quite a few boards.

Cheers for the heads up Pete, seems I ran home from work for nothing, glad you have two!!! not! :( :nono: so much for one per customer. This would have been part of my planned upgrade. there are plenty of others out there but i had this one in mind.

I think I just got a GD65 from ebuyer, order went through but we'll have to wait an see if I get a "sorry, bang outta luck buddy" email later. If not i'll sit on it for a couple/few weeks till the i5 prices fall to reasonable levels.:)

I got a GD65 from OCUK, get free shipping with them too so not too bad! Was after a GD80 but it had sold out, and at that price Im not going to pass on the GD65, it'll probably be fine for me :)

Now looking at how much I can get for my current setup to put towards a 750 and some ram haha :D

How strange???? Called into OCUK yesterday, they had not recieved a delivery of the MSI boards.

So they're selling products they've not got? Or maybe drop-shipping straight from MSI?

There's a huge thread on OcUK Forums about it. It would seem that far too many people were able to order the product before the system declared it out of stock. They're offering those who weren't allocated GD65/GD80's the CD53 at the lower price as an alternative to cancelling the order. I'm glad I'm not involved in any of this.

Ahhh is that the aroma of BS I smell coming from a Staffordshire direction. Surely their system would just -1 for every person who completes the checkout process, turning others away when the stock reached 0?

Maybe i'm just overly suspicious but it sounds like a ploy to take the money and then offer something else hoping that people wont want to go through the whole long winded refund process.

Disco.

I eluded to this on another post.

I appreciate errors can happen, but this does sound wrong. However, as all the cheap boards were under the same product as the standard one, I assume that they sold them all before they had a chance to manually change it once there was 20 sold or something
