MSI To Offer 55% Off P55

Have to buy one just for the sake of it tbh.

One from each shop ?

Wonder if it's cos a newer rev is coming with better connectivity ?

That's what I am going to do  For that price it' silly not to, even if I don't get a CPU just yet.

It might be, didn't think of that, I think it's just an offer.

I wonder if they are loosing money on this?

Yea that looks seriously tempting. Also a bit curious as to why they've done it but I wont complain! Will try and get one but I suspect stock with fly and be quite hard to get one

I wonder whats wrong with this lot !

Maybe those r not that reliable and gona be v soon something change on the next lot !

Or im WRONG ! ;-)

Quality find Peter, wanted to respect the player but got this message

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to PeterStoba again."

Looks like you're a respected man !

I can't understand this type of marketing by MSI, I mean what's the point in doing this if the offer is only good for a few days, or even possibly a few hours, I doubt that it will boost MSI sales by much at all.

I'm not impressed by MSI boards, their X58 boards run notoriously hot, a fact that MSI have chosen to ignore if you check out their forum. These boards are new, performance is unknown, no thanks even at half price!

Understandable comments however the same risks are to be had as an early adopter of any product, regardless of brand. With a 55% discount it certainly wouldn't hurt to order one. Worst case scenario, let's say it's widely reported on launch day that the MSI P55 GD80 can't even hit a BCLK of 200MHz. Simply don't open the box and send it back under DSR. :)

Update: OverclockersUK will not be taking part in this offer. Novatech will be.

CCL dropped their prices minutes ago, GD80 all gone, I managed to nab one. Loads of GD65 left at discounted price - http://www.cclonline.com/product-in...gory_id=949&manufacturer_id=0&tid=p55-gd65_so

All I can say is, keep your eyes on novatech. They have the lowest prices at the moment, without discount.

Overclockers have them both at the pre order price (albeit slightly higher some some reason) now.
