MSI to implement Killer Networking into future MoBos

I didn't think any 'killer' NICs made any difference to performance ?

I remember there being an OC3D review and thread on KillerNIC
Don't think OC3D touched their products since

to be honest i've never really researched this technology as to whether it works or not. I did see one for sale in a FS&W thread recently and the buyer did report improved performance but how much i'm unsure. It is clear from this however that MSI are cementing there place in the motherboard market with many of their boards already a popular choice here on the forums the fact they're adding even more desirable features is nice to see and presents high hopes for their next line of products!

Will probably sell a few more boards to easily lead gamers

I am looking at getting a MSI motherboard at the moment for my new build so not knocking MSI just think the Killer Networks thing is a misleading way to part gamers with their cash :(

they dont its a complete waste of money better spent on an ssd in my eyes even my 775 system im on now has a gigabyte lan port i have over 100MBs download speed and upload over 15MBS my ping on average is less than 15ms.

i used a killer nic to see if it made a difference it didnt infact i found it slower just didnt play nice with my virgin media superhub as it was too fast for it to keep up... then it was a very old killer nic i treid to use.. would love to test a new one though to see if it does do what is advertised on the box...
