MSI teases their first Intel Z200 series motherboard

MSI has shown off their first 200 series motherboard, a new LGA 1151 socket motherboard that will replace Intel's existing 100 series of motherboards and support Intel's Kaby lake series CPUs.

- There's something Shodan-esque about those tracks, would be good if they could be altered in colour and brightness, and hopefully not just a sticker...

Yeah I was hoping for about 18 moths between architectures, never mind I'm sure the jump in performance wont be that great in comparison to skylake

They will just look at the GPU's that have come out, Sorry but i don't hold much hope with MSI, they just love to stuff everything up.

Kaby will be the earliest I look at upgrading from Ivy. Even then there's no pressing need when you think of the cost versus performance increase. X99 would be a good jump but those top end processors are crazy money and I'd not use half of the potential.

I think you'll be happy with Skylake for a while yet.
