Yeah, that's what I did. But got a bit confused as to what exact time it was due to the timezones differences, hence asking here.

Supposedly the announcement is September 1st which is the 2nd for us here in Australia with the founders additions available on the 21st and the AIB's on the 28th.

Right, but it says that it's 9 a.m. Pacific Time, does that mean they will host the event 9:00 in the morning?...

Not used to the whole am/pm and on top of that, the whole different timezones shortenings
PT(Pacific Time) is currently PDT(Pacific Daylight Time), it becomes PST(Pacific Standard Time) during the non-daylight savings time portion of the year.
Same physical area but different timezone (As time zones are defined in a formal sense as an offset from UTC), similarly to how Britain is currently observing BST(British Summer Time) then switches to GMT in other portion of year.
