Correct me if I'm wrong but although we know, they know and everybody knows the 9 series is dropping imminently. Isn't it odd for MoBo manufacturers to be in full marketing mode about Z390 before the processors have even officially been launched?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the, 390 chip set is backward compatible with 8th gen processor too. Could explain why there not holding back on launch for the 9th gen

That would certainly explain it! Didn't know that (if it's true)
