Today we're taking a close look at the latest factory overclocked card from MSI, the GTX670 OC Power Edition.

I think you shoulda bumped the price score up a bit fella, it's cheaper than most non reference 670's for that kind of performance :P Nice review

A good review, and one that I have been waiting for on here for a while now :)
May I ask, did you leave the fans on auto? - a lot of the owners of this card say that the Auto preset is pretty naff, and that setting up your own fan settings is better.

Hmm. It would seem as though my eyes decide to completely ignore certain prefixes whenever they wish - I didn't see the 'non' bit before the reference -.-
My bad :)

I want to know more aout them too.. For me it is now between this one, EVGA FTW one or the Gigabyte windforce x2. I want the quietest card, will be running SLI. How's the noise, idle / load?

Between those 3 cards, I believe the MSI is quietest at idle, but the Gigabyte is better at load. That's from what i've read, anyway.
However, you can set up custom fan profiles with the MSI, which should make it silent all the time :)

I was thinking of the Asus, but i've seen too many horror stories about the card on the interwebs.
And Asus' support is not in high regard here in the UK, either.

I don't trust ASUS much, prefer to get Gigabyte / MSi / EVGA to be honest. A couple of mobos / GPUs I had from Asus all died rather soon after warranty expired, puts me off a little bit.
I think it all comes down only to how quiet are the cards while idle, because when gaming I have my isolating headset anyway, so the noise doesn't trouble me. And if it's that bad, I might stick an aftermarket cooler on it. Might go with the EVGA after all. I don't like the memory chips on the back of the card on the MSI / Gigabyte ones.

I haven't heard any horror stories about the Asus card at all, seems to be the best 670 out there, although if there are lots of horror stories it's no longer in my good books, and their customer service is a bit ropey at times too. The MSI looks awesome and the overclocking with the new afterburner version looks insane too, but from the reviews i've seen it's too loud at load for me, but maybe the OC potential makes up for that? Another 670 i'm interested in is the KFA2/Galaxy EX models, but the MSI's OC potential is tempting me very much so

Ask James about his KFA2 card - he seems impressed :)
As with the MSI, from the user reviews that i've read on other forums, it seems the load noise can be cured with some manual fan customisation. Fans on 45% still seem to keep the card arctic like :P
