MSI goes green by removing unnecessary paper attachments from their motherboards

Hey, lets hide a cost cutting measure under the cover of vacuous, green virtue signalling.:rolleyes2:

You're fooling nobody, Msi.

Whilst you they save money, I also think this should have been done a long time ago. I've long since used the online version of the manual, and the rest of the stuff is pretty much useless.

So true. I think everyone should be doing this wherever possible. Also the sheer amount of unnecessary plastic packaging you get from all the "over the top" accessories etc could be reduced

What a pile of horse manure. Ditching dissolvable paper because printing is expensive and leaving 17 plastic screw bags that are dirt cheep and will end up in a landfill and calling it a "green" move is outright an insult.

Guv you could make a rant video about this. Haven't seen one of those in a while. Companies must be called out for this kind of nonsense.

Packaging really needs to change. Everything except static bags can be ditched and made from environment friendly materials. But this... They could have just said we are ditching paper manuals to reduce cost and they would have been fine. MSI just dug a hole for themselves... Again.

Exactly what I think.

They should be getting rid of as much plastic as possible not the manual as paper can be ethically sourced as well as made from product other than trees, so many companies are trying to green wash themselves by doing bull like this.

Yeah just have one compartment in the box with all the cables, accessories without plastic and wrapping, its not like it can do a lot of damage to eachother while in transit.

Not to mention mobos being provided with sometimes 6 sata cables... when 2 would be enough for most!

If you need more, then there is a very high chance you migrate your cables from your old rig over to the new one anyway.
