MSI DKA790GX weird

right i just picked up my new motherboard from ccl this morning to couple with my 5600+ brisbane until my x2 550 arrives, got it all put together running nice and booting into windows and im able to do everything i usually do on it

my problem is that every 20 mins or so the pc makes a noise like my old motherboard did when it shuts down even though the pc is not shutting down i can carry on playing on the pc for hours even after several of these noises, im just slightly worried that this problem could turn into another serious problem effecting my hole system.

4GB corsair dominators

650w modular antec neopower

HD 4890

Zalman 9700 nvidia edition

sounds like a loud click then theres a little sqreech

and sounds like its coming from everywhere >.<

could it be something to do with not wiping before swapping out the old motherboard?

im sure kav wouldnt mind giving it a test in one of there systems back at ccl if im honest rhys,

as for my 10 pence id guess psu or possably hdd,

My 4870 makes a screeching noise in Crysis, always has. I asked on AMD forums and they said it's a normal occurance.

It's perfectly normal for a healthy 4870 to sound broken...

took the board to CCL and the board was perfectly fine, he also tested my gpu, cpu and ram, then came the psu....and basically its shafted >.< so im having to RMA it argggh
