MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic & Mortar MATX Review

Funny you mention white builds I was looking around today for a nice case for my system, looked at the NZXT white and black H440

For white fans you can go with EK Vardars, Noiseblocker eloop, or Fractal Design Dynamic.

It is a very nice case if you decide to go with it. My brother and I built his rig into that case about 5 years ago and it has not once given us a problem, install was easy and TONS of room inside that case for parts. Also very good cable management holes and surprisingly a good amount of space on the backside to tuck cables and hide them away :)

Yeah Think it was the first case to get Tom's white gold award

Enjoyed reading that muchly, thanks !

Really like both. Sadly I need to get my priorities in order.. Maybe Winter time? it would be more fitting of the theme too :D

Only Case I think?

I know there's only been 2 or 3 white golds couldn't remember if another case got 1, old age the memory is lax sometimes,

Can't fault MSI on this board, once I updated the bio's everything runs smooth even the cpu volts don't seem to jump about much

Pity the video review (and even the text in the review) missed that the MATX includes Optical Audio Out and all digital graphics ports. Both major plus points.

Not many people reviewing MATX boards so as this was on my list as probably the only board that had reasonable MATX VRM (4/2) an optical out (other boards do not even have a header and if they have a header it is not always complete) I hope someone can help and provide more detail on what the MATX is like?

Most of the MATX boards appear to be having issues with BIOS boot times - NewEgg/Amazon reviews reporting 45+ seconds (some taking minutes) plus for it to start booting the OS!!!

Have MSI fixed this problem with the Mortar B350M (both black and Arctic versions)?

I do not want to be buying a new PC that does not even start to boot in the time it takes for my current ten year PC to be ready to use with time to spare!

Thanks
