EVGA makes the best neutral looking boards IMO but Asus really makes a great looking product with the Sabertooth as it does look very professional and clean as there isn't really any over the top branding or boy racer lights all over the place.

I have looked at all of the new motherboard (for my planned upgrade) from all of the main companies and with the Sabertooth and i just went meh i just keep going back to the EVGA motherboards.

I've even gone Meh with the new GPU's from all of them same again if i was going to get one of the 10 series cards it wouldn't be from the big 3 either.

I went with the Sabertooth over the X99 Classified because for some reason most if not all UK retailers don't stock EVGA X99 motherboards and the EVGA store seems to be always out of stock.

Fair enough, But if people like this GPU it's there choice but it doesn't do anything for me and as i have said this looks really ugly to me.

To me the Sabertooth looks like a Batman motherboard lol. Like a toy.

I think Europe, most notably Germany, is still the PC gaming capital of the world. China may be over taking though but yeah, the Germans are massive PC gamers. It was them who kept it alive during the 360 years.

MSI need to take a look back at their GTX 480 Lightning. It's still the best looking GPU they ever made IMO.

Well china makes up 25% of the global gaming market on its own. Whilst APAC (asia pacific region accounts for 47% of the global market. That is one HELL of an "area" of the market.

It does include mobile gaming sales and console, but still Asian revenue is far higher than the rest of the world. I can see why MSI will continue to focus there. I am not defending their choice. I hate everything about MSI product naming, aesthetics etc ever since they started introducing their silly looking dragon logo. My last product from them was the 560Ti cards which were sleak and simple.

Yeah honestly that Godlike motherboard was the most bellended thing I have ever seen. Sorry, I know people might actually have one but GOD DAMN that was bad.

It's so SO stupid too because I bet it cost money to R&D but yeah, it just goes to show that no amount of money can buy taste.

I would use nothing but EVGA motherboards but for a few reasons.

1. Their high end boards have needlessly convoluted bioses which makes overclocking a chore unless you are a pro.

2. They don't have a big enough range and have no mid ranged budget options. Well they do, but they carry high end prices.

3. Their high end boards are far too expensive. Especially with the likes of Asus who IMO have bioses down to a fine art.

EVGA have definitely grown over the past few years. They offer excellent PSUs at every price range, they really need to branch out a bit when it comes to boards etc.

Yup so true. I have been avoiding MSI since the debacle with my X79 board and tbh they won't tempt me back with cookies and a glass of milk.

That and the fact that they have pretty much left the gaming cards the same, so they all look the bloody same.
