MSI AM4 B350 Tomahawk and X370 XPOWER Gaming Titanium shown at CES

The Tit is quite nice. Two M2 slots as well, so that's that mystery answered :) Would cover up the stupid dragon though.

Finally some proper AM4 info that isn't just leaks and rumors. I hope to see some mATX boards and not just ATX otherwise that's my upgrade on hold even more.

One thing I do want to see sorted out is this whole cooler nonsense because I swear AMD said before that AM3 coolers would be compatible with AM4 then I saw the article on here with both backplates measured and AM4's was a bit different

I'm glad we actually have proper info, but I'm not glad that it's ugly! The Titanium is preference, but to me it's meh. The other board tho... Good lord it's just ugly.

Strix will be the one to have IMO. Good balance of price performance and looks on the Intel socket so can't see why they would radically change the design for AMD.

I don't think the coolers will fit. I guess mostly it will be to stop people using the wrong cooler on Ryzen. Can't see a AM2+ stock cooler working very well.

Agreed, even the name Tomahawk, it's like they are deliberately marketing it at teenagers who exclusively play CoD. I hope Gigabyte or Asus create one that's just jet black top to bottom, they do that and I'm sold.

That's true, in my case it's for my H100i v2, it's only 6 months old and I really do not want to fork out on a new one, I can't really afford to. Hopefully Corsair will release a mounting kit for it. That and I want to reuse my partner's Shadow Rock LP when I upgrade her PC.

Corsair and Noctua etc will no doubt make a new bracket for coolers that can cut it, so I wouldn't worry about that too much.
