I really don't understand who it is that these AIOs are aimed at. Casuals play on console, new gamers play on laptops, serious gamers play on PCs. Who buys this?

Gamers who are not interested or don't know how to build a pc, but want a good looking and capable pc for gaming. Given the choice which would you get this or something from pc world

Id get a prebuild desktop and a monitor.

Unless you know what to pick out as most give you options, wouldn't something that looks good and says gaming be an easier option

But I do understand what you mean for people who know a bit about pc's it does seem a bit pointless

I guess you have a good point about people who don't know much about PCs. Then again, people who know little about PCs probably have not heard of MSI.

True
But these will probably sold on site like amazon and aria dabs so and highlighted in google search results, so people doing a search for gaming pc's will get to see it and as I said it looks good with the dragon and says gaming AIO

That's a good point actually. I guess that advertising is really what gets these sold.

Its same with imacs. They're AIO too. Why would you buy it? Doesnt take a lot of space, no installation needed. Just need to plug in the power, internet,kb and mouse and you're done. Not that i'd buy it but i get the idea

Yeah, but imacs are not aimed at gamers, this clearly is

So you've got the form factor of a thin monitor but with decent gaming performance. Pretty decent if you ask me.

Not much better than a laptop tbh. They will be about the same size when you factor in the keyboard. I don't think this is a very usefull product, but if advertised properly, I see why it would sell.
