MSI has achieved several world record Kaby Lake overclocks on their Z270 XPOWER Gaming Titanium, clocking their i7 7700K CPU as high as 7GHz.

Wait... I thought the 7700K were gonna be a quad core? Ie 4 cores/8 threads and not what that CPU-Z is showing, 2 cores/2 threads?...

That was their max overclock with some cores disabled.

Lower down they have slightly lower overclocks with all cores/threads enabled.
