I have a computer with two hard drives... On HDD1 I have windows xp, some installed apps and games. On HDD2 I have files like music, photos and stuff like that. Non-installed things I mean.
Now I'm going to take HDD2 out of the computer and into a completely new one to be the primary HDD and install windows on it. HDD2 has three partitions. Will the partitions stay the same and have all the files on it in the new computer?
I'm going to install windows on the first partition, which I've formatted and emptied. Or, are the partition/boot files part of the bios of my old computer bios or something?
Stupid question I guess, but I really got unsure when I started to think about it! :O
