Mouse Purchase Help

Looking at getting a new mouse as the rubber sides on my Asus Spatha are starting to peel and it looks and feels horrible.

I was looking at the Corsair M65 RGB Elite but saw it has a rubberised body, I have 1 prerequisite for my mouse purchase, No rubberised surfaces or grit grip coated surfaces, They wear out quickly and feel horrible.

So does anyone know of a decent mouse, Regardless of brand. Without this horrible rubberised coating or any sort of gritty coating some mice tend to have ?

Dice I've had this Cougar mouse of mine for four years now and it's been IMHO the best mouse I've ever owned and used period!
The only wear on it is their logo on the fully adjustable palm rest, the core is aluminum which makes it solid and stable, even the scroll wheel is as solid as the day I bought it.
If I had to do it again I would in a heart beat, and I've had Logitech and Corsair and to me none of them have competed to this mouse and I've got big hands and I'm rough with it and it just keeps on performing.

Take a look at Roccat as a brand they make solid stuff both my mouse and keyboard are both that brand won't be changing any time soon.

I've recently gone the Glorious Model O- route myself, feels pretty good so far. Now everyone's hands are different and every mouse feel different. Easiest way is to try and try out a bunch and hopefully finding one that fits your preferences. This is what I did in order to find the Model O-.

been a great mouse.

You would be better popping into somewhere like PC world to try several to see how they feel in your hand.

Thanks for the suggestion all, Also looking at the Logitech MX Master 3 but having a difficult time seeing if it has that horrible rubberise surface.

The rubberised surface must be a way of cost cutting, It's on everything nowadays, Feels bleedin horrible.

Nah it's just popular is all.

It's only when it rots that people want something else.

I noticed it going on my bitfenix cases years ago, just from using window cleaner on.

I guess mice are supposed to be disposable now.

If I find a mouse I like I stick with it for years, I like the Asus ROG Spatha but the rubber bits on the side ruin it, Just wish manufacturers gave more options without that crappy rubber material.

Yup me too.

I put a Func rubberised mouse in storage a year ago. I'll get pics of it when I get back. It's absolutely gross.

That was from one summer in a dry crawl space.

That's why I made sure the big spend mouse (well, £70) wasn't like that.

Got an email back from Logitech as I asked if the MX Master 3 has a rubberised surface or a standard plastic surface, Sanjeeb couldn't tell me and said I'd have to buy it to find out, Absolutely useless customer service.

Doesnt look rubberized. Looking at the light refraction on the pattern.

Ordered it and sent it back, Rubber coating, Nasty stuff.

Dice, if you like small light mice, give the Coolermaster MM710 a go, it doesn't have any rubberized surface whatsoever and after getting used to it a bit more, it is far from a bad mouse!

My Roccat owl eye version doesn't have rubberised, the old pure before was rubber which i switched after it went bad to a corsair but couldn't get used to the shape, but really it depends on the style you like size of palm and such, I don't mind the rubber mice but they all go bad over time.
