Mouse dilemma

Ok here goes...

On my main rig I'm currently running a Logitech G7 wireless mouse (Vista Ultimate OS). Over the past few days it has been stuttering very occasionally when working on my desktop, and eventually stops working with the cursor being left wherever on my desktop it decides to stop. The only way to get the mouse back is to remove the USB plug and then put it back in, which tbh, is starting to get real 'old', real quick. It's frustrating to say the least as I like my G7 and the wireless functionality. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Setpoint drivers which keeps the stuttering in check for a short while before it starts to happen again. After a quick search of Google it appears that the issue is quite well known :( So what do I do:

a) RMA the mouse and run the risk of it happening again.

b) Get myself a new mouse. The only mouse that really appeals to me is the G9 if I have to go wired

Opinions and suggestions on other mice appreciated

PV :)

Thank you so much for steering in the direction of the Ikari, now I just have to get my hands on one :)

Grab yourself a wired mouse PV.

Best for gaming and no risk of running out of battery or loss of connection, can't go wrong really. :)

It is not as much a gamer mouse like the G9 (works fine for me though) but it has options for working that are really nice.

Lol the battery life is amazing long.
Hi markkleb. Sorry I should have been more descriptive of my needs. The mouse is to be used for both gaming and general use. If I can't manage to source myself one of the Steelseries Ikari, I' may take that one off your hands. Thank you so much for the kind offer though...tis very much appreciated :):worship:
